Starting A Revolution
Elements of a Revolution
A revolution has many aspects, many elements so to speak. There are the people.
Some of which are truly committed to a better world, a different way of doing things.
Some just want something new.
There is the music. (Every revolution has the campfire songs that the people sing to encourage themselves.)
There is the ideology. Many times the ideology is worked out as the revolution grows.
There must be a clear coherent message.
There must be soldiers - those who can and will carry the message.
There must be trained leaders to advance the message and to give guidance to the soldiers that are on the frontlines everyday.
We (JGLM) intend to be one of those training centers to raise up leaders.
A NEW WINESKIN
Every revolution needs a structure. In this case God has given us a new wineskin.
No revolution starts at the top. Revolutions, by nature are grassroot movements that start in the hearts of the people. In the church this is called rebellion.
But it is right to be in rebellion against the wrong. The "church", meaning the people in the body of Christ, must begin to demand that the leaders start operating according to true New Testament principles.
Everyone knows that the church is not the way it is meant to be. We are not to be the church of the Book of Acts, we are to be the church in the Book of Ephesians.
The church has been talking about a "Saints Movement", yet very few steps have been taken to launch it.
