There is much controversy today concerning Dr. Lake and the various ministries he founded.
The Healing Rooms in Spokane founded by John G. Lake in 1915 ceased operations in 1920.
Shortly thereafter the building burned down and was replaced by another building that was completely different.
The entrance was on a different street.
The floors of the building were of different dimensions and the building itself was different in height.
When the new building was built, Dr. Lake had already passed away. HE NEVER SET FOOT IN THE NEW BUILDING.
The first earthquake in 75 years to hit Spokane caused only ONE building to be CONDEMNED: The NEW (current) Rookery Building.
John G. Lake Ministries (General Overseer Curry Blake) is the ONLY ministry LEGALLY ABLE to use the name John G. Lake Ministries. Other ministries try to get around this LEGAL fact by saying they are "based upon" John G. Lake's Ministry.
It has been reported to us that some unscrupulous persons will openly say they are "John G. Lake Ministries" when they know they are not being recorded, even though they know that what they are saying is NOT TRUE.
Don't be mislead, make sure that any ministry claiming to be John G. Lake Ministries is authentic.
Ask them if they are affiliated with THE John G. Lake Ministries connected with Curry Blake.
Christians should be interested in Truth, not relics (especially relics that are not real).

For the record, I, Curry Blake, did not write the above, yet I do agree with it.
There are those (one person so far) that have contacted me, saying that I should not be so blunt in what I write or say concerning other "ministries".
To those that believe that we should keep quiet when people are outright lying to others, and thereby become a partner to the lies, I say this:
1. This attitude is why the church is in the shape that it is in. I generally do not "name names", I simply state the truth. If that truth contradicts what others are saying, let them change to speaking truth.
2. If you don't like what I'm saying, there are plenty of other websites that will be glad to continue lying to you, so go there and don't look on this website. I am committed to the Truth. If I say something that is untrue, it will be a mistake and not a lie. The reason I am saying this so strongly is because I have already went to the other ministries and told them the truth about what they were saying, and they decided to ignore what I told them and continue to lie.
Those of you that want to write me about my "attitude" should save the paper or email and pray for me if you think I am wrong.
Facts are facts. People should not just say anything they want and expect not to get called on it.

Since this has been published one of the ministries indicated above have changed the information on their website. This is a good step toward integrity.
